*New Programme for 2018*

Due to popular demand, the Lord’s Taverners have introduced a new programme for 2018; grants towards bikes and trikes for special needs schools.

Bikes and trikes give young people with special needs the chance to get outside, enjoy exercise, strengthen motor skills and co-ordination and practise important road safety skills.

Our preferred suppliers: Tomcat and Theraplay

Tomcat is a specialist, British manufacturer of foot or hand propelled trikes and trailers for disabled people aged two to adult. They are the inventors of many worldwide industry standards such as tricycle rear steering and braking (Carer Control™) and Trailer Trike™ for which they have won the coveted Queens Award for Innovation. They also custom build all their products. It's not just a trike, it's a Tomcat!

They offer a range of 20 cycles, all of which can be easily customised to the needs of each individual rider through the use of removable postural supports and carer control systems. All Theraplay cycles are robust and can be easily maintained, a service package is available to ensure the tricycles remain in good working order for complete peace of mind.
