The Taverners took a President’s XI to play against Warwick School, a fixture attended by a good number of West Midlands supporting celebrities.  Warwick School amassed 170 in their 30 overs with no outstanding performances apart from the speed of which the medics attended to the President’s split finger when he dropped a catch and the blood is likely to be donated to the local hospital. 

In reply the Taverners knocked off the runs with 5 wickets in hand and overs to spare with the star performance coming from Toby Tarrant, not out for 55.  Neil Smith and Neal Radford put in a tremendous amount of work together with their supporters, to make this a really successful day.
