Although we are synonomous with cricket, the sport of golf plays a major part in our organisation. It has proven to be a great way to get members together for Club events and matches against other charities/societies. We have also been able to stage a number of prime fundraising events, often utilising the golf fanatics amongst our celebrity network.

We cater for all playing abilities and organise a series of

• The Lord's Taverners fundraising and club events
• The Lady Taverners fixtures and events
• Regional golf days

Every event is special to the people who participate, but we are very fortunate to be able to hold events at some stunning and prestigious courses across the country and sometimes overseas.

For example, our annual Brommers' Trophy Golf Day is played on The Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club each April. Named in memory of one of our most influential Chairmen, John Bromley, the event is further enhanced by the generous sponsorship of Moet & Chandon.

Through the year at a national level, we have a series of Grand Prix events, Society Days, Invitation days and our annual National Team Challenge. Similarly, The Lady Taverners has an extensive list of golf events, including their annual trip to the famous La Manga Club in Spain.
