More in this section:
Last year we delivered 32 specially-adapted, wheelchair-accessible minibuses to schools, clubs and youth organisations across the UK. These iconic green vehicles give young people with disabilities access to new places and experiences.
The first Lord’s Taverners accessible minibus was supplied to Richard Cloudesley School in London in 1976.
In 2012 we delivered our 1,000th minibus to The Edith Borthwick School from Braintree (pictured, right) in a special presentation at the Ford County Ground in Chelmsford, home of Essex CCC.
We are grateful for the support given by The Ford Motor Company, Birchwood Ford and our convertors, together with the many organisations and individuals who have generously sponsored the minibuses.
