Fun Day at Drayton Manor
With the awful weather we had experienced in June, it was with great relief to see the sun shine on our Fun Day at Drayton Manor on 27 June. Once again Colin Bryan, owner of Drayton Manor, had very kindly supported the day. In addition we were joined by some local Dairy Crest staff who came along to join in the fun, as well as give the children such wonderful treats as milk shakes and cheese.
100 children and carers started arriving from 10am and by 11.15am everyone was in the Park to enjoy the fun. As you can see from the photos, a great time was had by all, including getting wet on the water rides....
At lunchtime everyone returned to enjoy lunch provided by Drayton Manor. Lots of chatter about the fun they were having and the rides they had been on. Then it was time to head back out in to the Park for one or two last rides, before returning to school. However, before they left they all received a lovely cuddly teddy bear kindly donated by Duncan Spence. As you can see, they were a huge hit. A big thank you to everyone who helped and supported on the day.
