Christmas Lunch sporting guest stars announced
Stars from the world of cricket, golf and football will form the Sky Sports expert panel at this year’s Lord’s Taverners Christmas Lunch but if you haven’t already secured your place for the event at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 4 December, then book now because only a very limited number of places remain.
The Sky Sports panel at this year’s lunch will be hosted by presenter Natalie Sawyer and she will be joined by former England cricketer and coach David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd. Former England and Arsenal striker Alan Smith will add his insight from the world of football while 2014 Ryder Cup winner captain Paul McGinley will talk golf and will be joined by former professional and Sky golf pundit Henni Goya.
The Lord’s Taverners Christmas Lunch is a highlight in the events calendar and this year, comedian, actor and author David Walliams will headline the event. Walliams, recently on our TV screens as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, rose to fame in the BBC sketch show Little Britain and has enjoyed a glittering career as an comedian, actor, presenter and children’s author having also sold more than 12.5 million books across the world.
Away from the stage and screen he has also raised millions pounds for charity having swum the English Channel, the Strait of Gibraltar and the River Thames!

Tickets are priced at £140 for members and £160 for non-members. This includes a beer reception, three-course meal and half a bottle of wine per person. Platinum tickets are priced at £250 which includes a VIP reception, prime table position and upgrade to a bottle of wine per person.
