Patricia Hodge and Lord Digby Jones to attend Carol Concert
Patricia Hodge, one of the UK’s leading actresses, and former trade minister and business supremo Lord Digby Jones will be among the celebrity guests at the annual Lord’s Taverners Christmas Carol Concert on Monday 11 December at the St Marylebone Parish Church.
Hodge has more than three decades of leading roles on the stage and screen with one of her most recent appearances coming in the popular BBC TV series Miranda. Lord Jones is the former Director General of the CBI and Minister for State for Trade and Investments and he will also be joined by musician and lyricist Sir Richard Stilgoe among other celebrity guests who will perform songs and readings at the event.
Other confirmed guests are Lord’s Taverners Boccia ambassador Fiona Montgomery and conductor Nicholas Cleobury with support on the evening from the St Marylebone Parish Church Choir and the Intermusica Choir.
Tickets for the concert, which takes place at the church on Marylebone Road, are on sale now priced £25 per person with discounts available for bookings of six or more and U16s are free. Doors open at 6pm with the concert starting at 6.30pm.
