Team Taverners set to smash 2013 London Marathon target

At 10am yesterday morning, 39 heroes set off on the challenge of a lifetime to help The Lord’s Taverners give more sporting chances to disadvantaged and disabled young people across the UK.

By the time they had crossed the finish line some 26.2 miles later, Team Taverners was well on track to exceed its £100,000 fundraising target – news that hopefully helps ease some of their pain today!
