Match one completed for Father and Son challenge

Father and Son running duo Nick and Orlando Brooke have completed the first part of their 625-mile challenge to follow the England cricket team for the one day international series and running the distance between grounds.

They left Lord's on Sunday afternoon and made it to Trent Bridge in 50 hours, just in time to watch England's dramatic last-ball tie with Sri Lanka.

The duo, with an aggregate age of 96, are raising money for the Lord's Taverners and will be reaching a century of their own by running 100 x 10kms back-to-back while following the England team for the ODI series.

It's a total of 625miles in 13 days, tackling canalside paths, getting 5-6 hours sleep under the stars and even running through the night to get to the matches in time.

The duo are now heading to Birmingham for Friday's match at Edgbaston.
