Cambridgeshire Lady Taverners celebrate 25 Years of fundraising
The Cambridgeshire Lady Taverners celebrated their 25th anniversary at Tattersalls on Monday – marking a quarter of a century of fundraising and improving the lives of local disabled and disadvantaged youngsters.
To celebrate the milestone Dorothy Calder, who founded the region and Pauline Hellowell, current Chairman, joined guest speaker ‘James Runcie’, the committee and loyal supporters to celebrate the achievements of the region. Since 1991, the region has raised £200,893 and presented five minibuses to local special educational needs schools since it was formed.
