Marcus

Since joining Super 1s in 2022, Marcus' cricket journey has progressed to Super 9s, captaincy, club cricketer and coach.

Marcus is turning 21 this year and has recently completed his final year of studies at Aylesbury College.

He joined the Buckinghamshire Super 1s in 2022 and, through his dedication and hard work, progressed to the Buckinghamshire Super 9s first team in 2026. During his time with the squad, Marcus has made a valuable contribution through his commitment, teamwork and passion for cricket.

Marcus is currently captain of the Buckinghamshire Super 9s and takes great pride in leading the team on both match days and at training. He particularly enjoys mentoring younger players, helping to develop their skills while encouraging a lifelong love of the game. His commitment to coaching is reflected in his ECB Level 2 Cricket Coach qualification. He also plays for the Chesham CC 5th team.

Away from the cricket field, Marcus enjoys a wide range of sports, including tennis, padel and football, as well as, of course, cricket. He is also a keen photographer with a particular passion for aviation. Despite the ups and downs, he remains a loyal Spurs supporter.

As a Youth Ambassador, Marcus hopes to inspire others, promote the opportunities that sport can provide, and support young people who may face additional challenges, helping them to build confidence, develop friendships and achieve their potential.
