Youth Ambassadors

Matt

Matt is a three-time National Table Cricket Finalist who has been playing table cricket since he was six years old.

My name is Matt, I will soon be 19, and I live in Suffolk. I attend college, and in September 2026 I will start an internship.

In my spare time, I follow Ipswich Town home and away; I enjoy the gym, watching England cricket and spending time with my friends.

I first tried table cricket when I was around six years old. In secondary school, I joined the school team, and I have been lucky enough to make it to the National Final at Lord's Cricket Ground three times.

I love being a part of a team, encouraging and supporting each other. Winning and losing together.

The friendships and experiences I have made through table cricket led me to apply to become a Youth Ambassador. I want people to feel confident enough to have a go at table cricket. It’s a real leveller. I use a wheelchair but feel I can compete with anyone.
