Ollie

Ollie has only been with Super 1s in Barnet since September 2025, but has already made an impact by volunteering his time with the charity and now becoming a Youth Ambassador.

Hello, my name is Oliver. I go to school in Berkhamsted, and I am in Year 10. I absolutely love to play sport: especially tennis, cricket, and football. It is such a great way to spend time being active and with my friends.   

I joined the Barnet Super 1s in Finchley in September 2025 after hearing about it from a friend at school. I really enjoy the sessions , and it has inspired me to join my local cricket club in Southgate. This season I have trained with them as well as the Super 1s and have played in competitive matches!

Super 1s also led me to volunteer with Lord’s Taverners at an event at Lord’s Cricket Ground. I found it really rewarding to coach younger children, and it made me want to become a Youth Ambassador.
