Glow in the dark cricket lights up Liverpool

To celebrate the launch of Lancashire Cricket’s new Wicketz hub in Liverpool, pupils from St Christopher’s Primary School took part in the very first session at the brand-new facility at Lifestyles Austin Rawlinson in Speke.

Please join us to celebrate the festive season at our annual Christmas lunch.

Lunch is a delicious three course festive meal, followed by fabulous entertainment, including a superb magician, raffle, live auction and a traditional sing-along of some Christmas favourites to close out the event.

A cash/card bar remains open throughout.

Roses rivals unite through Wicketz

There was a Roses match up with a difference in Bradford this week where participants from Wicketz hubs in Bradford and Manchester, delivered by the Yorkshire and Lancashire Cricket Foundations, came together through cricket at the Karmand Community Centre for a day of competition and life skills workshops.

Millenium Stadium Charitable Trust £7,000 funding boost

Our Wicketz programme has received a huge boost in the form of a £7,000 grant from the Millenium Stadium Charitable Trust, which will help fund the delivery of our free community cricket programme in Wales for the next 12 months.

As we approach the final week of our summer residentials, the impact has been felt far and wide, bringing together a diverse group of young participants from across the UK.

£50,000 grant to help Lord’s Taverners community empower young people through cricket

The Lord’s Taverners Wicketz programme has received a huge boost in the form of a £50,000 grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation, which will help fund the expansion of a youth voice platform at each of the charity’s 17 Wicketz projects that puts young people from disadvantaged communities at the heart of the continued delivery of Wicketz.
