Lord's Taverners join social media boycott

We’re joining the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), all 18 First-Class Counties, the eight Women's Regional teams and the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA), and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the sporting community in taking part in a social media boycott from 15:00 BST on Friday 30 April to 23:59 BST on Monday 3 May.

In taking part in this boycott, we want to stand by our own values, show solidarity with others and amplify the message that nobody should have to suffer abuse, racism or harassment on social media.

As a charity we work with some of the most marginalised and at-risk young people in the UK, who experience discrimination on a regular basis. No one should have to face the abuse that has devastatingly become the norm on social media platforms and we are proud to be taking this stance with others over the next three days.
