Are you passionate about cricket, your community, and making a difference?
Our Youth Ambassador programme offers young people (aged 14-24) involved in the Lord's Taverners cricket programmes the chance to represent their peers, share their voice, and inspire people to join our ambition of unlocking potential through cricket.
Whether you've taken part in Super 1s, Wicketz, softball or table cricket, this is your opportunity to step forward, build confidence, and empower others.

What is a Youth Ambassador?
Youth Ambassadors are young leaders who work alongside Lord’s Taverners staff to:
- Share their experiences and ideas
- Represent the views of other participants
- Support events and activities
- Help raise awareness of our programmes
- Develop new skills and confidence
You don't need to be an expert - just enthusiastic, reliable, passionate about the Lord's Taverners work and keen to get involved.

Who can apply?
You can apply or be nominated, if you:
- Are you currently involved in Super 1s, Wicketz, or our SEND cricket programmes
- Interested in leadership and personal development
- Enjoy meeting new people
- Want to make a positive impact
- Are aged 14-24
Parents, teachers, and support workers are very welcome to help complete the application if needed.
What will I gain?
As a Youth Ambassador, you'll have the chance to:
- Build confidence and communication skills
- Attend exciting events
- Gain valuable experience for CVs, college, or job applications
- Help influence real decisions
- Meet people from around the country
But most importantly, you'll be using your voice to help others.
What support will I receive?
We'll provide:
- Access to external speakers and workshop facilitators to help develop your skills
- Guidance and encouragement from Lord's Taverners staff
- Clear information about opportunities
- A friendly, supportive environment
- Reimbursement of agreed expenses
We're here to help you succeed.
How much time does it take?
There's no fixed weekly commitment. You can choose which opportunities you'd like to be involved in based on your interests, availability, and comfort.
