Disability Cricket Day
Join us for an unforgettable day as the ECB, MCC and Lord's Taverners host a Disability Cricket Day at Lord's on Wednesday 25 June, which is set to be the biggest ever one-off showcase of disability cricket.
Showcasing the game’s range of accessible formats, and exploring how cricket has the power to include, inspire and empower disabled people in communities and within the recreational and elite game across the nation.
For the first time in the competition's history, our National Table Cricket Finals will feature as part of Disability Cricket Day, taking place in the Nursery Pavilion from 10am-2.30pm (viewing available for members who are registered only).
There will also be a Softball Competition for pupils from special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) schools we work with, and a showcase of our national disability cricket programme, Super 1s, on the nursery ground from 4.30pm.
In addition to Taverners related activity taking place at the ground, the MCC will play an exhibition game against Middlesex Disability (10am) on the famous main ground, at the same time the nursery ground hosts a Visually Impaired exhibition game.
To bring this special occasion to a close, the England Men’s Mixed Disability team will play the third game of an inaugural seven-match Mixed Disability Vitality IT20 series against India (3.30pm).
Tickets are available to attend the Mixed Disability Vitality IT20 against India for £5 through the link below.*
