Festival of Disability Cricket

Venue: Lord's Cricket Ground

Join us for an unforgettable day as the ECB, MCC and Lord's Taverners unite to celebrate disability cricket at Lord's on Wednesday 19 August, showcasing the game’s range of accessible formats and how cricket has the power to include, inspire and empower young people living with a disability.

Showcasing the game’s range of accessible formats, and exploring how cricket has the power to include, inspire and empower disabled people in communities and within the recreational and elite game across the nation.

From 11am there will be a Super 1s Competition in the Vitality Performance Centre (formerly known as the Indoor Centre) with the Final to take place on the outfield of the main ground from 1.15pm. As well as, a Community Cricket Activities Open Session and Visually Impaired (VI) cricket demonstration on the Nursery Ground.

During the day, you will also be able to enjoy Table Cricket open sessions in the Museum, with Accessible Ground Tours at 11am and 1pm.

In addition to Taverners related activity taking place, the MCC will play against Middlesex Disability (10am) on the famous main ground, ahead of a special performance by Electric Umbrella at 2.30pm before the England Men’s Mixed Disability team will play the final game of their seven-match Mixed Disability Vitality IT20 series against India (3.30pm).
