Lord's Taverners 7s a big hit in Richmond

Hundreds of people came together on a glorious sunny day last Saturday (19 May), for a tournament of rugby and netball 7s in Richmond park in aid of the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity.

The event was supported by England Rugby 7s Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallists Dan Norton and Phil Burgess who were joined by Wasps' netball Superleague champions Lucy Harris and Josie Huckle who inspired the players in both sports on the day.

The rugby was won, for the second consecutive year, by John Ayling & Associates who beat Merlin in the final, whilst the netball competition went down to the wire with Mindshare beating Ogilvy after extra time.
