Sunshine Garden Centre provide Middlesex with Table Cricket boost
The Sunshine Garden Centre and the Lord’s Taverners are delighted to announce a partnership going forward that will help support table cricket in Middlesex.
Table cricket is an adapted form of cricket played on a table tennis table, that is recognised as a form of cricket by the ECB. It is fully inclusive – aimed at young people with disabilities who are unable to play the traditional version of cricket. It can be played both competitively and in a recreational or educational setting.
The Lord’s Taverners are very proud to be in partnership with the Sunshine Garden Centre. Not only will the money raised give a number of disabled young people a sporting chance, it is great to be partnered with an organisation that is hands on and wanting to be heavily involved with the charity going forwards.
Paul Douglass, Managing Director at the Sunshine Garden Centre, said: “All of us at Sunshine are extremely excited to be working with such a great charity. Sport is an excellent way of bringing people together, and the Taverners work hard on making a positive difference on young people’s lives. We hope our enthusiasm and dedication will help to enhance table cricket in Middlesex, and look forward to playing a part in this incredible initiative.”
As part of the partnership the Sunshine Garden Centre has also agreed to provide Lord’s Taverners members with a 10% in-store discount that can be redeemed at the checkouts by providing your membership number. With the summer approaching and the garden centre being a 'World Store' for Weber barbecues this could be the perfect time to make a visit.
