Lord's Taverners confirmed as Moet & Chandon Festival Charity Partner
The Lord’s Taverners has been named as the official charity of the Moët & Chandon July Festival at Newmarket Racecourse.
The festival, which consists of three action packed days of world class horse racing, fashion and musical entertainment, sees the charity have an exclusive marquee near the finishing post for Darley July Cup Day (13 July). The Darley July Cup is one of the world’s most prestigious sprint races and regularly attracts runners from all around the globe.
Tickets to join the Lord’s Taverners on the day cost £125. This will get you hospitality and premier admission badges and a two course lunch, with the event being hosted by former England rugby player George Chuter.
Amy Starkey, Regional Director, The Jockey Club – East Region, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Lord’s Taverners as the official charity partner of the Moët & Chandon July Festival.
“It is important that Newmarket, as the home of horse racing, one of the most popular sports in the UK, sends a message that sport is for everybody. In shining a spotlight on the fantastic work done by the Lord’s Taverners in giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance, that is exactly what we are doing and I look forward to working with the charity this year.”
