During the AGM, Mark Curtin, CEO, updated members on the fundraising environment, the Lord's Taverners position, and gave updates on the progress made against our new strategy, noting we are on track to hit our targets for programme delivery, youth engagement, income, and expenditure. He also highlighted the success of the first two-year Youth Ambassador project and notes there are plans to expand the programme which will include creating a youth board to advise trustees and committees. He closed by emphasising the importance of building on the charity’s 75-year legacy while planning confidently for the next five years.
Rachel Roy, Membership Manager, gave a brief update on progress made on introducing a new membership platform which is currently in development, taking questions from members in the room. More information on the members platform and updates to your membership will be provided in due course.
