New wheels on the road for Calthorpe Academy
With funding from Champions (UK) PLC, we presented a brand new specially adapted minibus to Calthorpe Academy in Birmingham.
Calthorpe is a Special Educational Needs school catering for 370 learners aged 2 to 19, and their new minibus will provide opportunities for those disabled young people to access their community and enable further education and life skills.
Watch below as, thanks to our partnership with Champions (UK) PLC, we were able to hand over the keys to Calthorpe!
Thanks to our brilliant Wicketz and disability cricket development officers we've been able to engage with our participants through social media while sessions haven't been running.
It's paramount that we all stay active, not just for fitness and enjoyment but mental health as well and since programme activity has been suspended the response from all of our participants has been brilliant.
