John Fingleton

Everyone at the Lord's Taverners was saddened to hear of the death of long-term member and supporter John Fingleton last week.

Fingers, a regular at many Taverners events either as a guest, umpire or in his role as an auctioneer, first joined the charity in 1989 and he remained an engaged supporter, demonstrating his love of cricket through not just his support of the Taverners, but also actively with the MCC where he became a familiar face on match days sitting at the front of the pavilion.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
