You are almost there!

Thank you for your interest in joining The Final Word Cricket Podcast for the annual Edinburgh Marathon Festival run in support of Lord’s Taverners!

We've had lots of interest in the half and full marathon this year, and due to high demand, the races have sold out! If you would still like to join #TeamTavs at the EMF, please register for the 10k race by following the instructions below:

  • Navigate to the event website by following this link
  • Select your preferred event and click ‘enter now’
  • If you ran last year, login using the details you signed up with, otherwise create a new MyRunning account using one of the options listed
  • Fill in your personal details – sorry for making you do this twice, once is for us to post you goodies, the other is for the race organisers to identify you!
  • IMPORTANT: Select a standard entry place, NOT a charity entry place – Lord's Taverners do not have charity places at the Edinburgh 10k race
  • Skip through the affiliate charity screens by selecting ‘NO’ on each of them
  • Agree to the agreements and proceed through checkout.

Once you’ve received your confirmation email, please let us know by forwarding the email to Sadique Ahmed at contact@lordstaverners.org. Once we’ve got this confirmation, we’ll be able to add you to our WhatsApp community, send you our comprehensive information pack, and get you kitted out in some #TeamTavs merch.

Alternatively, we have a team running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham this September. This race offers a similar community feel and competitive spirit. To join #TeamTavs in Nottingham, register your interest here.

T&Cs – Lord's Taverners is not responsible for purchasing runner’s places unless explicitly stated otherwise. To be part of the Final Word Podcast team, runners are required to secure their own place through the race organisers and inform Lord’s Taverners of their confirmed participation in the event.
