£500,000 Westminster Foundation funding boost for inclusive cricket programmes

Young people living with a disability and from disadvantaged communities in Westminster are set to benefit from a £500,000 Partnership Grant awarded by the Westminster Foundation in support of Lord’s Taverners national community cricket programmes Super 1s and Wicketz over the next five years.

For the first time in the competition's history, our National Table Cricket Finals will take place as part of Disability Cricket Day, which is set to be the biggest ever one-off showcase of disability cricket hosted by the MCC, ECB and Lord’s Taverners at Lord's on Wednesday 25 June.

£50,000 boost for Bristol Wicketz

Young people living in disadvantaged communities across Bristol are set to benefit from £50,000 of funding from the Hargreaves Foundation in 2025. This significant grant will enable the Lord’s Taverners to develop its Wicketz programme in the city over the next 12 months.
