A day in the life of Shravani

Shravani (20) participates in the Super 1s programme, attending weekly sessions at the Stroud hub in Gloucestershire, which is run by Disability Development Officer, Jeanette Tate and the Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation. In July this year, Shravani won an ‘Inspire Award’ presented to those who have encapsulated what Super 1s is all about.

She gives us incredible insight into a day in her life and the challenges she faces on a daily basis living with Asperger’s Syndrome, anxiety and depression and how she has now begun using her own personal experiences to positively impact the lives of young people around her, using cricket as a force for good.

Taking place at Trevose Golf and Country Club between 20–23 June 2019, the Staysure Tour event will bring together amateurs and professionals for four days of fantastic golfing action.

1991 Masters winner and Europe’s 2006 Ryder Cup winning captain Ian Woosnam OBE has been announced as event host and will be joined on the course by the likes of Paul Lawrie OBE, Peter Baker, Jean Van de Velde and Paul McGinley.

If you are an amateur player and would like to rub shoulders with these stars, then playing opportunities are available.

These include:

• 20th June- Pro-Am team event- Team of three to play 18 holes at Trevose Golf & Country Club alongside a Staysure Tour professional

• 21 & 22 June- Two 18-hole rounds on the course at the Trevose Golf & Country Club alongside a Staysure Tour professional
