Surrey Rugby Supper
Join the Lord’s Taverners Surrey Region for an enthralling evening of entertaining stories and insightful commentary at the Royal Air Force Club.
Enjoy an evening of dinner and entertainment compered by Rob Henderson with special guest Zinzan Brooke.
Zinzan Brooke is regarded as one of rugby’s greatest number eights. Earning 58 caps for New Zealand, he was a key figure in the dominant All Blacks teams of the late 1980s and 1990s, including the 1995 Rugby World Cup. At club level, he starred for Auckland and the Blues, winning multiple domestic and Super Rugby titles before joining Harlequins in England. Renowned for combining power with rare skill, Brooke could kick goals, throw audacious passes, and famously landed a 40-metre drop goal in a World Cup semi-final, cementing his status as a true trailblazer.
Rob Henderson earned 29 caps for Ireland and three Test caps for the British & Irish Lions. Over his club career, he represented London Irish, Wasps, Leinster, Munster, and Toulon. A former Tiffin School student from Kingston, Rob may not have an Irish accent, but he more than makes up for it with his sharp wit and great sense of humour.
