A history of Taverners events in January and February

The month of January in previous years has seen a variety of events from tribute and event dinners both nationally and regionally, charity gala, luncheons, rugby dinners, Burns Night, President's Ball and a dinner at Downing Street.

24 January 1992 The Lord's Taverners Hampshire Region 'Burns Night Supper' at Southampton Football Club, The Dell, Southampton.

27 January 2000 The Lord's Taverners President's Ball. The toasts and speakers were Nicholas Parsons, Veron East, Barry Cryer, Henry Kelly, Sir Tim Rice, and Chris Tarrant.

24 January 2002 The Lord's Taverners 50th President's Ball sponsored by Hertz London Hilton, Park Lane. The toasts and speakers were Robert Powell, Bill Jones, Peter Johnson, Anthony Marshall, Chris Tarrant, and Nicholas Parsons.

9 January 2004 The Lord's Taverners in association with Cunard Gala Evening to celebrate The Southampton Inaugural of Queens Mary 2.
