Tavs XI to face England PD Squad at Tring

For the second year running, the Taverners Celebrity Cricket XI will face the England Physical Disability Squad for what promises to be a great day's cricket at Tring Park Cricket Club on Sunday 15 August.

Last year, the England PD side were runaway winners in the clash but with the likes of county cricket stars Sam Northeast and Jack Brooks already in the Taverners squad under the captaincy of Matthew Hoggard, a fiercely-fought content awaits.

The match further strengthens the links between the England disability squads and the Taverners with the players having helped raise thousands of pounds for the charity's Super 1s programme with a series of challenges in the past two years.

Entry to the match at the ground in London Road, Tring, is free and all are welcome to attend.
