Super 1s is a Lord’s Taverners disability cricket programme. Through Super 1s disabled young people have the opportunity to have fun playing cricket with friends every week and also experience real, peer group competition.

Timings: 6pm - 9pm

Through taking part in Super 1s, disabled young people also develop self-efficacy and other life skills, skills that are critical in
helping them realise their potential, both on and off the pitch.

The challenges for disabled young people and those around them are considerable. Super 1s puts access and inclusion at
the heart of the programme. Our delivery partners work with local authorities and community partners to strive to make all
our Super 1s locations truly inclusive and accessible community hubs, welcoming young people aged 12 – 25, regardless of
gender, ethnicity or disability.

Disabled people who are trying to be active say that accessibility is one of their biggest barriers. Providing free Super 1s
sessions in areas where there is little else on offer can make all the difference.
