County Cricket Stars Support Runs and Wickets for Change Campaign

11 county cricketers across six counties have signed up to raise funds for the charity through our Runs and Wickets for Change campaign to support disadvantaged and disabled young people throughout the UK. 

Young players share their personal experiences, highlighting the supportive atmosphere, skill development, and newfound confidence they gain from being part of an all-female cricket community.

Many of the girls from our Wicketz hubs in Yorkshire were previously hesitant to engage in sports, but after joining Wicketz they have found inspiration and camaraderie in the programme, illustrating the positive impact of increased female representation in cricket.
