Agencies edge tense match up at Hurlingham
The 30th annual Media v Sales cricket fixture at Hurlingham was again a huge success after raising over £100,000 for The Lord's Taverners.
A tense match was eventually won by the agencies in the last over thanks to an outstanding innings by their captain and man of the match, Nick Lawson of Mediacom.
As a result of the fundraising from last year's Media v Sales match up, five schools were presented with new wheelchair accessible minibuses. Sir Tim Rice, Chris Cowdrey, Roger Uttley, John Price and Claudine Collins presented minibuses to:
- Hillside School, Sudbury
- Henshaws Society for Blind People, Harrogate
- KIDS Strut, Lincoln
- Norman Laud Association, Sutton Coldfield
- Sandgate School, Kendal
