Taverners XI tour to Corfu
Join our President David Gower and Lord's Taverners XI Captained by Andy Caddick on the historic island of Corfu this April, as part of a festival celebrating 200 years of cricket on the island.
Departing on Thursday 20 April, your five-night stay will give you the chance to enjoy the island from the luxurious setting of the Corfu Palace Hotel alongside the rest of the Taverners team and in the company of former England captain Gower who is hosting the trip.
The Taverners XI have twice visited Corfu and enjoy long-term support on the island and with Cricket Corfu which is a popular venue for touring English cricket teams. The first visit to Corfu was led by Nicolas Parsons in 1978 to coincide with the Corfu Literary Festival and the trip was successfully repeated in 2017.
We will return in 2023 following an invite from the Hellenic Cricket Federation to be part of the festival to celebrate 200 years of cricket in Greece.
As part of the festival, we will be joined by fellow teams the Lords & Commons Cricket Club, Royal Household Cricket Club, Brigade of Gurkhas Cricket Club and the Hellas National Cricket Team.

Outside of the standard package there is also an option to fly from Gatwick or Manchester with a supplement, and this can be booked through our travel partner Black Opal. Also, if you want to extend your stay then your flight(s) can be adjusted and your booking at the Corfu Palace can also be extended.
