Middlesex Region Balloon Debate

Venue: Lord's Cricket Ground

Join stars from the world of sport and entertainment as they discuss their sporting heroes in the 28th annual Middlesex Region Balloon Debate at Lord's on Wednesday 8 December.

The Long Room hosts the evening with the line-up of panellists trying to win the coveted title including Lord's Taverners President and former England cricket captain David Gower.

Having played with some of the biggest names in the game, who will Gower choose as his sporting hero? The broadcaster will be joined by another cricketing superstar with former England fast bowler and Ashes winner Simon Jones also taking to the stage.

The line-up is completed with broadcaster and Taverners XI regular Toby Tarrant looking to win the votes of the audience on the night and he will be joined by the charity's CEO Mark Curtin.

Tickets for evening which is being hosted by Gordon Kennedy - himself a previous Balloon Debate winner in 2007 - are on sale now priced £130 per person or £1,300 for a table of 10. The price includes a three-course dinner and wine.
