Scarlett's Story
At such a young age, Scarlett opens up about her mental health issues but now she has found comfort in her Wicketz family.
To hear from 9 year old Scarlett the struggles and worry she feels is heartbreaking.
According to the NHS, 40% of young people under 16 have experienced deterioration in their mental health since 2017. Rates of probable mental health issues have increased by a third since the same year.
Since Scarlett has been attending Wicketz in Redditch, she has found like-minded girls who share her passion for cricket and she has been able to experience wonderful memories from residential trips meeting young people from across the country.
