Kit Recycling programme to focus on cricket kit only

Following a recent kit recycling review, we’ve decided to change the focus of the programme to ensure that it aligns with the rest of our cricket activity and helps us work towards growing our reach to those who need it most and making the game more accessible.

From now, this programme will focus solely on collecting and donating cricket kit, distributing it to those who need it most. The programme will now be renamed Cricket Kit Recycling.

The cost of equipment is one of the main barriers to entry for many of the communities we work with, and we know there are many other community cricket projects at home and abroad who aren’t able to access the kit and equipment required to participate in the game. Working with partners within the game and with continued donations of cricket kit to those in need, we can make sure we’re enabling young people to not just play cricket but benefit from all the life skills that can be learnt from engaging in the sport.
