Our Youth Ambassadors
The Lord’s Taverners Youth Ambassador Board comprises of 13 young people who have engaged in our cricket programmes.
The Lord’s Taverners’ Youth Ambassador Programme is a two-year training and development for young people, ages 14 – 25, who have attended one of our programmes for a year or more. Throughout the programme, Youth Ambassadors will take part in training and have opportunities to put this into practice to develop skills in:
- Public speaking
- Community engagement
- Advocacy and creating positive change
- Peer mentoring
- CV writing, application and interviews
Our 2022-25 Strategy puts “young people facing inequality at the heart of our thinking, decision making and actions” and our Youth Ambassador Programme is a key part of this. Our Youth Ambassadors speak about their experiences of our programmes and the impact they have had on them, ensuring that our stakeholders are able to hear directly from the young people we exist to support.
In 2023-24, we recruited our first cohort of 13 Youth Ambassadors from across the UK, find out more about them below.

Our Programmes
We work across the UK and beyond to provide inclusive and impactful cricket programmes, empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
